Flying Lion Canada brings firsthand industry knowledge from engaging with Canadian regulators, manufacturers, and operators. Flying Lion Canada has successfully supported regulatory efforts, submitting 20-30 Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) applications across Canada, Australia, and the United States.
Barry Brennan is the President and founder of Flying Lion, Inc. (FLI), a full-service small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) Solutions Company. As President, Barry manages all aspects that contribute to FLI’s continuous pursuit of excellence.
Barry has developed several drone air support programs for public safety agencies, corporations, and municipalities. Additionally, he has designed and developed the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) XCELLENCE Award-winning sUAS curriculum and flight training for community colleges throughout southern California.
Barry earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Marc is the owner of Canfly Drones and Vice President of Regulatory of Flying Lion Canada. He is experienced in preparing organizations and their operators in applying for their Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) and in developing base materials following the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) Part IX.
Marc has been studying and working in aviation for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with an individual focus on human factors, decision making, and aviation psychology.
He has been working commercially with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) since 2015, and has become a student of industrial applications of said technology. He has extensive commercial aviation experience and currently works as an airline captain in Canada. Marc has been able to leverage his 10,000+ hours of experience in manned aircraft into very safe and efficient unmanned aircraft practices and is ready to share that experience.
